世界中国学论坛是一个高层次、全方位、开放性的学术性论坛，旨在为海内外中国学研究界提供对话渠道和交流平台，反映中国学研究的动态与趋势。第五届世界中国学论坛于2013年3月23至24日在上海展览中心举行。本届论坛的主题是“中国现代化：道路与前景”，各领域、各学科的中外专家学者和意见领袖，共论国际化大背景下中国的发展及与世界的互动相处之道；探讨十八大后未来中国与世界的共融相济、合作发展；增进国际社会对中国基本国情、价值观念、发展道路、内外政策的认识和理解。本书编集了本届论坛的主要议程和发言讨论。 The book is the record and the selected speeches at the roundtables and panels of the 5th World Forum on China Studies. The World Forum on China Studies is a high-end academic event jointly organized by the Information Office of Shanghai Municipality. As an open international forum, it aims to provide channels for dialogue and platforms for communication for the study of China both at home and abroad. It also intends to reflect the dynamics and trends of research into China, encourage innovative ideas, advance the integration of schools, increase mutual understanding between China and the rest of the world and establish the China study research networks of global influence. The 5th World Forum on China Studies took place at Shanghai Exhibition Center on March 23-24, 2013. Under the theme “China’s Modernization: Road and Prospects”, the forum attracted scholars and opinion leaders from various fields and disciplines to study the development of China and its interaction with the world in the context of globalization and the way of harmonious co-existence between China and the rest of the world after the 18th National Congress of the CPC. The aim of the forum was to increase the understanding within the international community of the basic conditions in China, its values, development paths and domestic and foreign policies.
