　　The main revisions include the following：
　　1.In the chapter of General Provisions，the types of voice and data services are refined and the application principles for "new technology，new materials，new techniques and new equipment" as well as the provisions on energy conservation and environmental protection are added.
　　2.In the chapter of Terms and Abbreviations，the explanation on the term of "core network" is added and the abbreviations used in this Code are sorted out and kept in line with the current relevant technical standards，
　　3.The original term "network design" is revised into "core network" and the provisions on equipment configuration and redundancy design of each subsystem of the core network are supplemented.the design provisions on equipment configuration and connection mode related to the packet switched domain application system are added.
　　4.The original chapter name "Radio System Design" is revised into "Base Station Subsystem" and the provisions on the configuration of base station controller and the indoor coverage are added.the requirements on radio coverage design for railways of different levels are supplemented， the contents about "selection of station location" and "antenna pole（tower）" are transferred to this chapter.
　　5.The part of "Interconnection" in the original chapter "Network Design" is changed into a separate chapter and revised into "Interconnection and Interfaces".The provisions on internal interfaces of GSM-R related to design are supplemented and the requirements for external interfaces of GSM-R are improved，
　　6.The part of "Numbering Plan" in the original chapter "Network Design" is revised into a separate chapter named "Number Planning" and the numbering principles of GSM-R are cleared.
　　7.The requirements for quality of service are adjusted by reference to the Overall Technical Requirements for Railway Digital Mobile Communication System（GSM-R）（TB/T 3324）.
　　8.The original chapter name "User Terminal Configuration" is revised into "Mobile Station （MS）"，the classification of MS is adjusted and the requirements for the configuration of handsets are refined.
